Unacceptable Issues
This is a list of things I thought were overlooked by Treasurecove and in my opinion should not be on a pin of this calibur.
1. There was a paper shim under right flipper opto board. I had to fill the hole with wood puddy to keep flipper opto board flat.
Notice
the paper shim behind the flipper opto board. Not to mention the
flipper spring metal on the Wrong side of the white bracket (on both sides).
When I removed the board, I found the cabinet was gouged and a large piece
of wood was missing under the opto board. That's why the shim was needed.
I used wood filler on the cabinet and sanded and repainted the whole inside.
2. I had to COMPLETELY rebuild flippers (both flippers were so crudded up that
after 1 week of playing, they were sticking in the up position. Also EOS switches
were not set equally, I replaced EVERYTHING in the flipper assemblies)
This is an "after" picture. Notice the "38" in the upper
left.
Allen swapped out playfields due to some artwork lifting
from the mylar removal process.
This is the playfield I received on the game.
3. Replaced both flipper opto boards (one was totally warped and unusable due
to the paper shim). That cost me a pretty penny. Requested assistance from Allen,
but didn't receive a reply.
4. Fixed auto-launch mounting bracket under playfield (was shimmed with a folded up piece of paper also!). Sorry, didn't take a picture of this one.
