Cosmetic Issues
This is a list of cosmetic fixes I did to the game after I received it.
1.
Touchup black cabinet paint
2. Touchup gray cabinet paint
3. Touchup green cabinet paint
4. Replace shooter eyeball (the shooter eyeball included with game was a glow
in the dark superball with an eyeball painted on it that was torn during shipping).
I made my own shooter using
this.
(his eyeball shift knob)
5. Clean skull eyeball lamp covers
6. Replace lock lamp cover
7. Replace pricing card with one I made (now available on pinballrebel.com
make sure IE doesn't shrink it, 1800 X 975 pixels, large file)
8. Fixed torn serial # decal inside of cabinet
Serial number decal slightly damaged.
9. Repainted rear playfield black board
10. Clean flipper buttons
11. Clean dead heads (very dirty for some reason)
12. Replaced playfield glass (lots of scratches)
13. Replaced backbox glass (since I ordered one piece for playfield, I might
as well do both)
14. Cleaned translite
15. Installed NOS leaper assemblies (old ones were polished and dented)
16. Cleaned frogs with toothbrush and simple green (frogs were filthy for some
reason)
17. Cleaned tilt mechanism
18. Installed new stainless steel side rails (old ones were scratched and had minor denting)
19. Repainted interior of cabinet (it had been repainted but not sanded smooth
prior to repainting)
20.
Cleaned and restapled plastic extrusions that hold playfield glass in place
21. Vacuumed interior of cabinet
22. Replaced right boogieman (head and arm fell off on third day of ownership)
23. Clean blue rubber bumper in trough
24. Shooter lane has dirt under clearcoat. Allen wouldn't fix this because he
said it was quite a bit of work. Guess I'll just live with it.
25. Installed new Pinball Inc. Boney
Beast ramp. Old ramp had repair kit on it and was broken in half.
Shooter lane a bit dirty.
